What a great card from one of my stampers! Alesia's first card class with me was this month and she was so inspired that she went home and made this card for her husband. LOL, okay maybe I didn't inspire her that much but what a great card huh?!Monday, November 30, 2009

Snow....flake
Hey Stampers!Back to share another card that my stampers made for our last stamp-a-stack prior to the New Year. This is an awesome design that I CASED (mostly) from my favorite blog -- can you guess which one? Post a comment if you know.
The original design was a 3 x 6" card but I scaled it down to a "regular" size. Who can beat that snowflake stamp though for $7.95 in the back of the catalog and the punch that matches? Wahoo!
You'll have to stop by on New Years to see the second card design we did during this class...

Twilight FAN!
So for those of you who don't know me, I am a huge Twilight fan. Actually, my sister and I went to Forks, Washington and Portland, Oregon in September to see the actual places where the film was made. It was super cool!
Before we went, I made this card for my sister. Edward (one of the main characters) is our favorite. I did put some glitter on his flesh. This card's Edward does DAZZLE you. *wink*
Tonight, my sister, friend Leigh and I will go to see the 12:01 a.m. showing of the second movie, New Moon! Yipee! I'll have to come up with another prize to give the girls for going with me.

Halloween Treats (late post)
One day before Halloween I went to Target and I always like to browse the dollar spot. They had these super cute post it notes with skulls on them so I bought all they had. Then, I had to figure out a cute way to cover them and give them as Halloween gifts to the teachers at preschool. I found a cute video over at Dawn's, click HERE. As you can see from the video it is super easy to do and the only time consuming part was cutting out all the skulls.
After I was done, I wrapped them in cello bags with crimped paper and tied them off with grosgrain ribbon. The mini gel pens I bought at a local office supply place.

Teacher Gift
I forgot to post my teacher's gifts for the beginning of the school year -- EEK! I loved making these little chipboard covered notepad holders and beaded pens. They are super easy and the teachers seemed to love them.
The binder clip is also covered with the same "preschool" paper that I bought from a local scrapbook store.
